If you have any questions about gateways, here is a brief explanation of how they work.

Some gateways have the ability to debit CCNs, such as Amazon MX, Amazon AE, etc. They can debit CCNs that would not be issued by other gateways, such as AMEX, which are issued by the MX gateway.
